I thought we Could be Together

This is my first critique so please bear with me. Though this picture is very sad considering that Cinderpelt is heartbroken in the background and has no chance of ending up with the one she loves.
However, there is still room for improvement. Firestar's nose looks a bit flat and his pupils aren't very noticeable because there are a bit too many flecks (the white things) in his eyes. You should only have up to two when drawing an eye. Their eyes are not very realistic either. Cat eyes are really not shaped like an almond and I think the eye on Firestar's left looks like it's becoming part of his fur and that is something that needs fixing. Because then he doesn't look like he has a skull. Both his eyes, Sandstorm's eyes, and Cinderpelt's ears are crooked as well. Sorry I'm a bit of an OCD when it comes to eyes. I love them and I can't stand to see when people kill eyes. And in this case I don't mean colors as much, I mean shape and emotion. (Here's a good tutorial on how to draw a cat's face, fav.me/d6j3fqt. Either that or you could google up a reference image)
You might want to use a reference when painting a cat because your anatomy could use some work. Cinderpelt in the background looks a bit stiff and she isn't really showing the emotion that she's upset. Her ears are flat, which is one good detail that you didn't miss, but she should have her head down or something like that that show's she's distraught. Right now she just looks like she's watching the trees grow. Sandstorm's (if that is her) ears are a bit too straight up on her head as cat ears are really supposed to point outward like a "V". There is also supposed to be hair inside the ears of a cat, not just pink.

The bushes and the trees look kind of flat and a few of the trees' trunks look off because they begin small and then gradually get large at the top. Trees begin big and then get smaller as they go up. But depending on the size of the tree, you want to consider how much it will shrink before you run out of canvas.
